Daniil Kukuevskii (born January 1, 2005) is a Russian ballroom dancer specializing in competitive Latin dance. He has represented Russia, Ukraine, and later the United States in national and international dance competitions, earning multiple finalist and medalist placements.

Early Life and Education

Kukuevskii was born in Orel, Russia. He began ballroom dance training at the age of four and joined the “Inspiration” dance club in 2009. In addition to dance, he competed in boxing and judo, achieving first-place finishes in regional Oryol Oblast tournaments. From 2021 to 2023, he studied at Moscow State Pedagogical University, focusing on the integration of pedagogical theory with performing arts training.

Dance Career

Kukuevskii’s professional career began at the “Starlight” dance club in Bryansk, Russia. Between 2015 and 2018, he earned Vice-Champion titles at several international competitions, including the WDC AL Open World Championships, the WDC AL European Championships, and the UK International Dance Festival. He later relocated to Kharkov, Ukraine, where he trained at the “Respect Dance Hall” and continued to compete at national and international levels. In 2023, Kukuevskii moved to Los Angeles, California. He currently trains at Brooklyn DanceSport Club and competes in major U.S. competitions. As of 2025, he is a finalist and medalist at events such as the New York Dance Festival, Emerald Ball, Manhattan Dance Championships, California Open, Desert Classic, and Holiday Dance Classic.
